Appellations for Data Mining
As the field grows, more and more people from different domains are involved in data mining. Thus, different appellations appear. My question in this post concerns the term that you use for naming "data mining" in your specific area of research or application.
Note that you can choose several answers at the same time. Another question which is strongly related to the former one concerns the meaning of these terms. For some people these terms have the same meaning, and for others not. So, feel free to comment and give your opinion about the similarity of the meaning of these expressions.
